How to Create Albums in Google Photos

Many people opt to use Google Photos to back up and manage photos and images collected over the years. And why not? Google Photos has great cross-platform availability, a simple UI, and storage syncs across all Google cloud-based services.

Plus, Google Photos offers an album feature, which is important for grouping your pictures and sharing them with other people. And sometimes, you can’t use images on Google Photos for specific tasks unless they are in an album. So, we’ll walk you through how to make albums on a smartphone and on the web.

After downloading Google Photos from the App Store or Play Store, and you’ve figured out how to upload to Google Photos, you can begin to create albums. The process is pretty much the same on both iPhone and Android.

Here’s how to do it:

If the photos you mean to add were recently captured, you can select them from the Google Photos home Photos page and tap Add to. When the menu appears, choose Album or Shared Album.

If you don’t wish to use a phone or simply don’t have access to one, you could do your Google Photos album management all on a browser on your computer.
